After more than 30 years in the energy sector, Juli Semprum turned her passion for the culinary arts into The Sweet Portion — a brand where craftsmanship and elegance meet.

After more than 30 years in the energy sector as an Operations Manager, Julisse Semprun decided to transform her passion for cooking into a purposeful business. Inspired by international flavors and guided by a deep attention to detail, she began creating dishes and desserts that blended technique, creativity, and emotion. What started as a personal expression, sharing her creations with family and friends, soon evolved into a professional culinary project.

In 2018, The Sweet Portion was born on Instagram, initially offering artisanal desserts and homemade creations. As demand grew, the brand expanded its services, formally becoming an LLC and developing multiple culinary lines. By 2021–2022, The Sweet Portion had incorporated social and corporate catering, allowing the brand to serve weddings, celebrations, and business events with the same level of care, presentation, and flavor that defined its desserts.

Today, The Sweet Portion operates across two complementary service areas:
artisanal desserts for B2B partners and customized catering for social and corporate events. While catering remains a key part of the brand’s offering, the company has strategically expanded its B2B dessert line, partnering with restaurants, cafés, hotels, and hospitality operators who seek premium desserts without producing them in-house.

This evolution reflects the brand’s core philosophy:

Our desserts are designed to integrate seamlessly into our clients’ menus, offering consistency, elegant presentation, and reliable production — while our catering services deliver curated culinary experiences tailored to each event.
